Team Cooper--

I understand your pain and your joyous memories! Team Caridi had the same experience....twice.

We loved a full energy Boxer we named Bullet (for obvious reasons). He was the perfect companion to Philip and Joseph (and later Andrew). He lived up to his breed's genetics -- raised to be baby sitters in Victorian England: the boys would pull him hither and yon...by his ears, no less. BUT let a stranger approach, he was all teeth. For all intents and purposes, Bullet was Joey's best pal. When he passed due internal bleeding s a result of a sloppy guest who dropped mussel shells on the floor, we was sorely missed. We couldn't afford to have him cremated...a decision we all regret to this day. Then came Remi, a rescue Pit Bull, that thought he was a puppy...a tremendous disposition and very loving. Remi was Andy's dog in every sense of the word and when he crossed the Rainbow Bridge, we didn't repeat our mistake -- Remi's ashes rest in an urn by our fireplace. Dogs are proof that God loves us!!!
