I'm proud of the work we did as Federal Workers. Proud to have played my small part in defending the Constitution from all enemies both foreign and domestic. Proud of the effort we placed in upholding the laws of the land. Proud to be part of a cadre of Federal Workers who rooted out actual waste, fraud and abuse, and in doing so, held the perpetrators to account. I was a federal civil servant for over 43 years. While I absolutely know there is waist, fraud, and unwise spending in a number of places, my experience is the the vast of civil servants take their jobs seriously. They aim to provide an outstanding product or service and very often meet that benchmark. This wholesale butchery on the backs of dedicated professionals is an egregious misuse of political power.
