“Hope does not disappear when the plan changes; it simply learns to take a new direction.”

Never give up hope, sometimes it comes through at the last minute.

Continued healing thoughts and prayers are being sent to you at this time. 🙏🏻

Dear Christopher, Your Dad has been a Spiritual mentor to me for about 4 years. Two and a half years ago, I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, and Jack has been a shoulder and an ear for me. Then you were diagnosed, and Jack kept telling me about your blog. I finally stopped resisting and asked him for the link. My name is Shelly and I am 60 YO. I had my stem cell transplant Dec 19, 2024. I will have a 4th biopsy this Dec 19. (dread) Let me explain the dread - the needle in my pelvic bone. Everyone is expecting positive results. Multiple Myeloma is a blood/bone cancer, and it is treatable, not curable. I used to journal and have not been able to write one word since the diagnosis. Oh k, with all that said...I will be out here reading you. Shalom, Shelly

JANGUS—Your writing always provides a truth worthy of reflection. This latest contribution is no exception — “Hope does not disappear when the plan changes; it simply learns to take a new direction.” I was also taken with your observation that set backs and victories are co-products of the same process. Your ability to receive all inputs with a Zen-like acceptance is a role model for all — stay strong and keep the faith!!!

Your soul and mind are stronger than the cancer cells. Be who you are and fight like hell. We are constantly praying for your recovery, just another bump in the road. Faith always wins. I wish I could do more to help you Chris, but praying is about as much as I can do right now. Hang in there monkey, you got this....love you bunches, Carole Lynne...
