JANGUS--

You have the right perspective! In your own words: "Recovery, though, isn’t just about the big milestones like transplants and test results. It’s also about the small, stubborn victories." Keep the ultimate goal in sight but celebrate stubborn victories. As you may know, Vicki's most recent victory was the removal of a new site outside the kidney. Her's continues to be a novel cancer has and we are trying to come up with a treatment plan other than surveillance. We take solace in what you write....it leads the way. May God continue to bless you and your family!

Chris - I love the optimism in how you describe your recovery--finding hope in small steps while holding on to the vision of future adventures/endeavors ahead. Your words and resilience continue to inspire me!

Chris, in my opinion camping under the stars is like heaven on earth. It's a great reminder of God's love for us. I know you'll get there, even if it feels like it will never happen sometimes, just look for Him in the stars, that's where your healing will come from. It takes baby steps, which you are not used to. You like giant leaps, save the leaps for your healing day....you are climbing Everest.....Love you bunches....Carole Lynne
